Obama Ends Funding Ban for Stem Cell Research
President Barack Obama ended a ban on federal funding of stem cell research.
Obama's decision is a sharp reversal of the policies enacted by President George W. Bush. (March 9)
President Obama has taken a big step toward getting federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. He signed an executive order lifting the research limitations.
